Abstract: The project is aimed to the deeper study of materials for very high temperature Solar Thermodynamic, namely ultra-high temperature ceramics absorbers.
The activities will be focused on carbides and borides of early transition metals and some of them will undergo specific treatments, e.g.surface texturing to optimize sunlight absorption.
