Dielectric Optical Resonators for Mechanical and Chemical Sensing Using Frequency Combs

Abstract: Strain sensing at the 10-13 level is performed using a fiber Bragg-grating resonatorinterrogated by an optical-comb stabilized laser. The comb is also used as a coherent radiationsource for fiber cavity-enhanced spectroscopy of liquids.
