Tracking unstable periodic orbits in a modulated laser

Abstract: Tracking of unstable orbits has been implemented in a modulated CO2 laser, on the basis of negative feedback of subharmonic components. This method can be in principle applied also to systems with very fast dynamics ant it does not require a readjusting of the feedback gain during the tracking.
