CO2 laser dynamics with feedback

Abstract: The validity of the four-level model is controlled in an experiment with a CO2 laser with electronic feedback. A global application of center manifold theory allows one to reduce the number of varieties from six to four. Qualitative differences are found with the case of loss modulations.
