Abstract: The accurate measurement of thermal expansion coefficient at low temperatures is fundamental in applications where a high mechanical stability is required over the complete procedure of cooling. Here we report on our measurement of thermal expansion of AISI 420 between 20 and 293 K, measured by an interferometric dilatometer. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
