Primary activity: Non-invasive analysis of artworks and monitoring of restoring operations through the application of linear and non-linear optical techniques on artistic materials and cultural heritage objects.


Main experiences acquired: Multispectral imaging spectroscopy, fibre optics reflectance spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography, laser scanning microprofilomentry, nonlinear optical microscopies (second and third harmonic generation, multi-photon excitation fluorescence), fluorescence lifetime imaging, Raman spectroscopy, 3D rendering, saturated cavity absorption ring-down spectroscopy.
