Making LIBS Quantitative: a critical review of the current approaches to the problem

Abstract: We present a critical comparison of several different techniques recently proposed for compensating the matrix effects in Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS)
measurements. The field of application and relative merits of the different approaches are discussed in details.
