Abstract: We present here a study of Fraunhofer diffraction patterns produced by regular fractal phase gratings. These gratings are of the Cantor bars type but the classical amplitude modulation is replaced by a phase modulation. The intensity distributions and self-similarity features of the diffraction patterns are analyzed for different phase values
