Abstract: A method to measure basic lens parameters of intraocular lenses is described in detail. Most of the work is performed using interferometry methods, for contactless and high-accuracy measurements of radius of curvature, thickness and particularly wave aberrations; we perform also measurement of the focal length through magnification method, and we compute the refractive index by formulas. The method is reported, together with experimental results for two different intraocular lens types.
