Abstract: A holographic recording technique is presented that establishes a correspondence, according to a predetermined code, between object parts and the plate locations where such parts are recorded. Encoding operations and subsequent object synthesis are discussed in terms of spatial multiplexing. Using a two-step process and white light end reconstruction, depth pseudo-colour contouring in particular is demonstrated.
