Abstract: Femtosecond time-resolved OKE has been used to investigate the glass-forming molten salt 2[Ca(NO3)2]3[KNO3] in the temperature range 110-350 C. Two different dynamics have been observed. Both of them are interpreted as due to rotations of the NO3 – ion.
