Award ceremony “Viva Marga” in Trieste

On 28 May 2024, the awards ceremony for the “Viva Marga” competition (https://www.vivamarga.it/), intended for schools in Florence, Trieste, and neighbouring countries, centred on the figure of the astronomer and popularizer Margherita Hack, ten years after her death.

The competition was divided into two categories: VISUAL ARTS AND WRITING, and MULTIMEDIA, DIGITAL COURSES AND VARIOUS ARTS.

Francesco D’Amato of the CNR-INO rewarded the pupils of class III B of the “Pirandello” state comprehensive school in Florence, ranked first for multimedia among the Florentine schools with the essay “Jumping on the Stars”.
