World Quantum Day in Naples, hundreds of students and explorers of the quantum world participated in the Quantum Treks activities.
April 29, 2024CNR-INO and Opificio delle Pietre Dure renew their historic collaboration: The goal is to create a research hub of international reference.
April 30, 2024The CNR-INO inaugurates a new cycle of seminars which aim to highlight scientific research with high potential for impact on society. In the first appointment researcher Irene Nepita, from the Institute of Condensed Matter Chemistry and Energy Technologies (ICMATE) of the CNR, will illustrate how her skills in biophotonics have given birth to a revolutionary microscopy system with high spatial and temporal resolution. We are waiting for you at the Sesto Fiorentino Unit of the CNR-INO, in the Querzoli Room of the LENS on 8 May 2024 11.30-12.30 with the theme “Unlocking Biophotonics frontiers from laboratory research to the market: plug and play scanning microscopy with spatial & temporal super resolution (PRISM)”.
Irene Nepita, currently employed as a Researcher at CNR-ICMATE, is Bioengineer with a Ph.D. in Fluid Dynamics and advanced training in clinical research and applied optics. She has collaborated with leading ophthalmic and healthcare companies, for the optimization of surgical devices and materials to enhance their performances. During her Post-Doc at Nanoscopy&NIC@IIT, she collaborated with Genoa Instruments on R&D projects aimed at transferring and applying proprietary technology in translational medicine.
