Near-infrared color centers in nanoscale diamond
We investigate the formation and the optical properties of near-infrared color centers in nanoscale diamond. We are specifically interested in the relationship betweenthe optical properties of the color centers and their nanoscale environment. Furthermore, we pay attention on single-photon emission and on the physico-chemical processes that may affect it.These include implantation, charging, surface interactions and electrical injection. Our major goal is the production of photostable single photon sources and their integration in nanoscale devices for communication, sensing and metrology.
