Patterning of poly-3BCMU nonlinear waveguides

Abstract: Experimental studies of the photobleaching technique is reported in the case of spin coated films of poly-3BCMU. This technique was utilized to fabricate tapered waveguides, gratings and waveguide lenses. Our results confirm the interesting potentiality of photobleaching for polymer based nonlinear integrated optics.
