Design of a frequency converter based on a nonlinear polymer waveguide

Abstract: Great hopes currently lie in new optical switching devices based on polymer film waveguides. Here our research activity is reported, carried out within the framework of the Italian Project on Telecommunications with the aim of designing a waveguide frequency converter (FC).
