Maggiori informazioni: The spectrometers can work also with prism or gratings with little changes. The configurations are based on off-axis Schmidt-Schmidt Cassegrain Camera, allowing to correct field curvature and spherical aberration and, given the symmetry properties of the Schmidt camera, they result well corrected with high image quality. The capability of Schmidt camera to work with great angular Fields of View and low relative aperture allows to realize high speed prism spectrometers with short focal lengths, with great advantage for the overall size. Moreover, these spectrometers are corrected for smile or slit curvature and keystone or spatial coregistration. They can also work with magnification different from unit. They offer great flexibility in accommodation, minimizing volume and allowing to separate different wave bands in parallel beams while maintaining high performances on Field of View and aperture.
